I'm Trying to Tell You I Love You

ThreeWalls, Chicago will host the showing of "I'm trying to tell you I love you." This exhibition features new work by emerging artists from across Europe and the United States practicing in various media including painting, sculpture, sound & video, photography and installation.

Designed to investigate the struggle for the "authentic" in that most heartfelt of emotions, love, each artist participating in the exhibition has been invited to create a new work reflecting his or her own interpretation and response to the exhibition's title phrase. "I'm trying to tell you I love you" sets failure with optimism and the romantic with the familiar, love against a diverse cultural and political background.

"I'm trying to tell you I love you" was developed by Ryan Weber.
